PPE Category and Regulation for Personal Protective Equipment
The requirements for PPE products are classified according to the risks identified for the intended protection of the equipment. Category I、II、III of the regulation has been specified defined based on different levels of the risks. Since Apr., 21, 2023, it is the end of EC Type Examination Certificates based on PPE Directive 89/686/EEC. All Safety products sold to the members of the European Union (EU countries) must comply with CE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 in accordance with a five (5)-year validity period.
